Our Story

It Started at University

In March 2024, ResolutionOS began at university, without an office, a large investment or a finished business plan. Ali Abdo brought together Amr Yasser, Amira Magdy, Abu Bakr Kamel and Ahmed Salah. The early group wanted to build something that could become more than another university project. There was no complete product or perfect business model: only ideas, discussions, experiments and the willingness to turn them into something real.

Around May 2024, Amr Yasser introduced Zeinab Ahmed, who became the sixth member. She joined an unfinished project and chose to help shape it. Exams, academic projects and different schedules made progress uneven. Long meetings sometimes meant revisiting decisions rather than moving ahead. The team gradually learned to prioritize, turn ideas into practical work and distinguish a promising concept from a viable business.

    • Learning to Build Together

    Different personalities brought different ways of seeing a problem. We learned that a strong team does not have to agree on everything; it has to know how to disagree without falling apart. When someone was overwhelmed by university or personal responsibilities, another person carried more of the work. When momentum faded, the others helped restore it. We did not have to be strong at the same time to keep moving.

    As the project matured, clearer ownership, accountability and leadership became necessary. Abu Bakr Kamel took responsibility as CEO, helping guide ResolutionOS toward its next stage. In December 2024, Salma Salah joined, completing the seven-person team. Beyond university, we began exploring Egypt’s startup ecosystem and learning about competitions, incubators, accelerators, pitching, investors, business models, customer validation, MVPs and product-market fit.

    The early concept explored AI and customer service broadly. Over time, we recognized that customers rarely contact a business just to have a conversation. They want an order changed, a complaint addressed or a service completed. Our focus became AI that helps move customer issues toward a verified resolution: service, recovery, retention and sales support, connected to authorized business actions and human oversight.

    Today, we are building ResolutionOS for businesses in Egypt and the Gulf, initially focusing on e-commerce and subscriptions. The vision is human-like dialogue that responds to customer context and leads to real actions and verified outcomes. We started as people brought together at university, became a team and then began building a startup. The product changed, our understanding deepened and the ambition grew. Through it all, we kept building together.
